Saanich Native Plants aims to inspire and empower people to restore and conserve nature by providing native plants, seeds, education, and expertise.

We’ve built our business on the core principle of valuing nature. We try to continually work with integrity and excellence and value collaboration greatly.

We grow  plants and produce seeds native to a variety of habitats in the Victoria area, including meadows, woodlands, forests, wetlands, beaches and more. We specialize in the restoration and ecology of Garry oak ecosystems (Prairie-Oak ecosystems) and meadowscaping. Saanich Native Plants resides on the Coast Salish Territories of  the W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples.

Every year, we build on the diversity of plants and seeds we offer. Our plant list is kept up to date seasonally, but please check back regularly as we are always adding new species and our stock fluctuates seasonally.

We strive for excellence in the health of our plants and seeds for our customers and the environment. We do not use herbicides, pesticides (including neonicotinoids), or chemical fertilizers. We also reduce waste by reusing and recycling as much as possible.

On a visit to the nursery you are greeted by our friendly and knowledgeable staff who can answer any question you may have or direct you to someone who does!
